That day I met Tanya at Chateau Laurier where she was getting ready with her mom. Then we went to the Arboretum, where Tanya and Nic arranged a private special moment of their first look.

Later on, surrounded by family and friends, Tanya and Nic tied the knot at the historic estate.

I've been imagining this picnic photo shoot for a few weeks until I realized that summer was slipping away fast. So, I picked a few absolutely necessary items at Home Sense :) and packed all the props and the girls :) in the car and off we went... The rest is in pictures!

Wedding at Econiche - Ottawa Wedding Photographer

When Lea told me that her wedding reception will be held at Econiche House, 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa, I become curious to see the place. I've never heard of it before and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the rustic cottage tacked away in a tranquil maple forest. It seemed absolutely suitable for an intimate celebration as well as a great place to allow family and friends to reunite and rejoice. 
The couple married at Our Lady of the Airways church in Gloucester. On our way to Econiche we stopped at Supreme Court of Canada for a few photographs. Here are some of my favorite pics from the day.
