Fall Wedding - Shannon & Lee { Iaroslava Petrenko | Ottawa Wedding Photographer}

Shannon and Lee married at Mill Street Brewery -  a charming place, rich in industrial heritage, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Ottawa River. In October, a foliage of red, orange and yellow covers the area in a spectacular array of Autumn colours.

The day was beautiful - warm and soft… and a bit nostalgic. It reminded me of the upcoming winter yet it carried the briskly escaping warmth and fresh memories of summer past. It was also exciting as it was a celebration of a new beginning, love and friendship.

Our late fall get-together with kids was a lot of fun!
   A few days before, I decided to paint the old tires just in case we could come up with time along with some inspirational weather for the End of the Year kids photo-shoot. While painting the tires on the field nearby my house I felt I may get in trouble... the passing cars were slowing down to check on what was going on. I became anxious to finish the project fast. Frankly, I had expected police to check if I was doing graffiti on the field! But they never did.
   Then Saturday weather turned out great! Only a slight chance of rain and overcast!
Last-minute prop discoveries from my friend Jay's basement still had some dust on them! We texted each other for coordination of outfits a couple of hours before the meet-up and boom! It worked! I love spontaneous photo-shoots!
