Wedding at Econiche - Ottawa Wedding Photographer

When Lea told me that her wedding reception will be held at Econiche House, 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa, I become curious to see the place. I've never heard of it before and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the rustic cottage tacked away in a tranquil maple forest. It seemed absolutely suitable for an intimate celebration as well as a great place to allow family and friends to reunite and rejoice. 
The couple married at Our Lady of the Airways church in Gloucester. On our way to Econiche we stopped at Supreme Court of Canada for a few photographs. Here are some of my favorite pics from the day.

Quinn and Stephane - a beautiful wedding!

I recently received an email from Quinn:

“Hi Slava! The disc arrived today and Stephane and I couldn't be happier! We think they turned out wonderfully! Thank you so much for helping to make our day so special and for giving us such beautiful memories!”

And I couldn't be happier too! The wedding was a blast! The colours of summer, the fun wedding party, and Quinn's gorgeous smile all made for a great outcome. It's when you guys shine that my work is simple – just capture the moment. All the best!

Jessica and Bruce - An Italian Neighbourhood Wedding

Jessica and Bruce's wedding was definitely influenced by an Italian neighbourhood where they recently bought an Italian home. The City Hall ceremony was followed by a trip to the Arboretum, where we hid from the sun and took pictures. Later, friends and family gathered on the grape-shaded patio near the house to celebrate the event.
