Anastasia and Ken - Perth Wedding

I don't even know where to start about this wedding.. I met Anastasia and her best friend a couple of months ago when Anastasia flew from Vancouver and we were able to discuss the details of her and Ken's wedding in details.. Right then I knew this wedding would be be an exciting and a new experience for me, as a photographer, as well as for many of their wedding guests!

Anastasia and Ken married in Perth in a picturesque setting of the Stewart's park. Their wedding was influenced by many wonderful russian wedding traditions where the groom is coming to the bride's home with his closest friends. To get the bride he has to pay some ransom to the bride's mades or complete some fun tasks. Some other traditions included crossing of the bridge and a bread and salt welcoming of the newlyweds.

I will post just a handful of their photographs today. I can't wait to create a gallery of this fun wedding on my website soon. Enjoy!

Anastasia's nephew, who was the ring bearer, has never left after presenting the rings to the bride and groom... He stood right there curiously observing the exchange of the rings process. I thought it was very cute :))

Donna and Thierry - Mont Tremblant Wedding

I have to say I love all my brides! I am thrilled to see the makeover that happens on the day and how these everyday girls transform into beautiful women. They all have a place in my heart… And Donna was not an exception.  I have not met Donna until the day of her wedding. When I arrived at Quintessence hotel in Mont Tremblant and saw her in jeans with a birdcage veil I could say right away that she would be an extraordinary, elegant bride when she puts her dress on.  And I wasn’t disappointed. When her little girls were dressed up and all the final details were out of the way, Donna turned into a glamorous bride without much of an attempt. Here are some pictures from that day.

Sarah and Rob - The Arboretum e-session

I would like to share a few photographs from one of my recent e-sessions. I met with Sarah and Rob about a year ago when they booked me as their wedding photographer. A few days after their e-session this May, Sarah emailed me to say their reception venue, West Carleton Banquet Hall, burned out.. Their wedding day had to change… Unfortunately,  I will not be their wedding day photographer due to the busy schedule.
I have to say, that I feel so sad to loose the opportunity to photograph this wonderful couple's wedding day as they are so much fun and so easy to work with!! I wish them both all the best!!!!
